Who gets the best results?

ACTIVE ADULTS

You may not identify with being an athlete per se, but you are active or at least want to be! Maybe limited mobility, a work injury, or pulling a muscle playing with the kids slowed you down - either way, we can help support you. Whether taking the dogs for a walk around the square, biking on the Maple Highlands Trail, going to Everybodies Gym, or golfing on the weekends, you deserve to do them all pain-free. You were made to move, and we are here to help you get the active lifestyle you want with a custom care plan that fits YOU.

ATHLETES

From golfers to runners, equestrian athletes, and everyone in between, although the sport of choice varies, the frustration and agony of limited mobility, injury, and pain are the same. As athletes ourselves, we understand and are committed to getting you back to your peak performance as soon and as safely as possible. Using our simple 3-Step Process of Pain Management, collaboration with local businesses/resources, and individualized plans, we work towards stronger, more resilient bodies that last.

How do you treat pain?
You’ll meet regularly with us to train, strengthen, and learn about your body so you’ll be empowered to get (and stay) back on your feet, literally! We follow our 3-Step Pain Management Process with every client:

#1

Pain Management

After we have a clear understanding of your specific activity goals you are interested in performing better, we identify where the pain is coming from and how to best treat it for long-term results that fit your lifestyle.

#2

We Move You

It's time to move forward! We'll use our manual skills to address the root cause of your pain by moving you according to a custom-care plan we create. On average, we work with clients for 10 visits for 8 weeks.

#3

You Move You

Because you now have additional movements in joints and muscle tissue, it's important to stay active. But don't worry; you now clearly understand how your body works and how to stay in control of your progress.

Why are you called performance therapy instead of physical therapy?
We have listened to our past and current clients and understand our role in helping to change their lives. In traditional physical therapy, a discharge date is set during your first visit. But what if your goal is to address your body issues, then progress to living your life better than you could ever imagine? Feeling like you can say yes to that next trip your friends ask you to go on, or you decide to take on that project around your house because you feel younger and stronger. Your body will reach that point, and we'll help you get there! From your first session with us, we are fully dedicated to working towards YOUR PERFORMANCE in the activities you care about most

What are some of your treatment methods?
Our caring, highly experienced team are experts in the following areas:

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is the cornerstone of our hands-on approach to effective physical therapy treatment. Skilled manual therapists can make immediate improvements to your range of motion and reduce your pain. As a result, their treatments can also create an opportunity for greater mobility, strength gains, and healing response. Read More >>

Integrative Dry Needling

This modern method of physical therapy  eases muscle strain due to injury. Despite the use of needles, IDN is different than acupuncture. Needles are placed at different “trigger points” in the body that are causing pain. Containing no saline, they can remain in the body for 30 seconds to 30 minutes depending on the client. Therapeutic Exercise

A vital part of getting you back to 100%! Therapeutic exercise is an integral piece of our practice and the results you will get with our treatment. Regain strength, speed healing, and resolve harmful compensations that you’ve developed. Ultimately, movement is the best medicine for most of the ailments we see. Read More>>

What programs do you offer?
Yes, we offer golf, running, and equestrian programs regularly. See our events to learn more and register!

Insurance & Payment FAQs

What does cash-based physical therapy mean?

Cash-based physical therapy means that we are out of network with all insurance companies and do not directly bill through insurance (though you may be eligible for reimbursement directly from your insurance company). Our patients pay us directly each visit for their one-on-one, personalized physical therapy session. This allows us to focus all of our attention on the patient and perform treatments to focus on patient goals without being dictated by insurance rules and regulations.
